As Interim CEO, Micah leads the Foundation’s management team, develops the Foundation’s organizational culture, and serves as a liaison to the board of directors. This includes supporting staff as they make grants and program-related investments and implement strategies to advance MRBF’s mission.
Micah also serves as Co-Founder and Senior Partner of Frontline Solutions, a Black-owned consulting firm dedicated to making the world more just for all. He leads the consulting team, supports staff in their work with clients, and works closely with senior leaders at partner organizations as a coach and thought partner.
Micah holds a PhD and a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts in African and Afro-American Studies and Religious Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is currently taking a leave of absence from MRBF’s board of directors, which he joined in January 2018, to serve as Interim CEO.
